Taco's 7.5watt Hydor mini heater, the one for 2.5-5 gallon tanks, always keeps his 5 gallon tank a bit too warm. It's always at 80F, sometimes climbing to 82F. It'll fall down to 78F at night, when my room gets colder, but during the day it's always very warm.
Anyone have this problem with the Hydor mini heaters? Is 80F-82F too warm?
I had that heater for my 1.5 gallon, so I had to unplug it a lot. I reccomend a lower temperature, but if 82 is the highest it goes, then you shouldn't have a problem!
