So I had to move Smurfy to the sbd tank. Ya know, the short lizard one I had for Elvis when he got worse. She is having alot of trouble swimming now. Going sideways, poor girl. I dunno what else to do for her. She keeps trying to eat stuff floating in the water,I dunno why. I can see her stomach is a lil round,so maybe she is constipated ontop sbd. I hope she is gonna be okay. I may get a smaller critter tank,so I can move her somewhere else. The lizard one doesnt exactly sit right on the sink counter,so I dont want to keep it there. Plus no light either. :-?
Poor Smurfy! I know how you feel. Merlot stays floating on his side most of the time and I don't really know what to do about him either. Once in awhile I'll catch him laying on the bottom. That doesn't make sense if he has sbd.
Try a mashed up pea. It was the only thing that worked for my Edelweiss at first and as long as you don't do it regularly it shouldn't do her any harm.
