I have two bettas right now and each one has the same heater...ever since I've gotten the heater it's kept the water at a constant 78 degrees. Well today I cleaned both the tanks and the one heater in functioning normally and the other not is only going to 70 degrees. Help?
Yeah the heater is on...and I see when it goes on and off but right now I have one gallon tanks so I do 100% water changes (I'm upgrading to a ten gallon this weekend) and the water I put in there was somewhere around 75-78 degrees and the one heater is fine but the other one is shutting off when it gets to 70...and I let it stand in the water for like 15 minutes when I put it back in before I plugged it in like it says in the directions and when I plugged it in it was still around 75 but now it won't get above 70.
