Hi guys, im attempting to breed my male vt. I had been feeding my pair live food for about a week and just placed the tanks beside eachother yesterday afternoon. This morning i saw that he had made a good sized bubble nest so i placed a paper between the tanks so that they wouldnt become desensitized but my male is acting very strange. Hes swimming rapidly around the tank and attacking the corner wall with his gills flared. And ater hes exhausted himself he lays against the heater. Whats going on???
If he is glass surfing in the area where she is at-then he is looking for her most likely...What is she doing...
If you have them to the point they are ready to spawn-I would use something so that you can place her in the tank with him so they can see each other to get ready for the next step..Spawning....
He is ready but she is still not. Shes taking a bit more time than i had expected. And shes just going about her normal buissines, not really caring too much.
