I have a heater but i used it for a smaller tank and it kept it warm.
Now that i moved him to a bigger tank and it gets cold at night it's ice cold water! The heater doesn't have a manual temp to change it to and i need one i can change, keep my little baby warm.
Hi there I would check on getting a 25 watt adjustable heater for your size tank. I have a Elite adjustable heater but its 50 watt since my tank is 5 gallons. It has been great heater and always keeps the temp right where I set it too. I ordered mine from Amazon around 5 months ago. Good luck luck in finding one, I guess places like Petsmart would be a good place to start or your local pet shop if they carry tank heaters.
My tanks are on a windowsill in the Northeast. My Fluval Spec II tanks have 50 watt Aqueon heaters. It is more than necessary, but temp always stayed right on perfect as set!!
Hydro Theo Heaters. I read a recommendation for them on this forum. So far I have not been disappointed! Great for the bit smaller tanks. Temp seems to be holding true and I have had them for a week +.
My recommendation....visitherm or hydro theo.... both2 25 w. Get only an adjuxtable....the presets do , t jeep a steady temp......
