Ok, so when I got my betta, and the water conditioner, the guy at Petco told me to leave the conditioner in the water for a whole day before I put the betta in. Is this good advice, or can I put him in earlier? My water conditioner is Nutrafin aqua+plus. I have used both well water and tap water.

Edit: Also, I have a one gallon and use 1 mL per gallon.

I never age my water. I would have to have a 100 gallon tub or something for all the tanks we have. It just isn't logical. If you are adding water conditioner it will be fine if you add it immediately. Just try to get it to the same temp as the current tank.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't putting him in danger by immediately adding him. XD Thanks!
