Question Betta gills moving in and out?

My Betta Rick does something with his gill's that I think is abnormal. He moves his gills in and out slowly (not flaring) is he just breathing or is this a hint to a problem?
Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZRb...ature=youtu.be

I edited it to show what I mean. I've looked at other bettas and they don't do this.
