Here is my betta of 3 years.
His first home was a 1 gallon bowl with no heater or filter.
Second home was a 2 gallon bowl with a heater.
I broke both while cleaning.
Then third home was a 2.5 gallon hex tank with a filter and heater.
Then finally his home now is a 5 gallon critter keeper. (made for anole lizzards)
I keep up on weekly water changes and every 2 to 3 weeks I do a 100% water change.
I have a mini heater in it that keeps it about 78 to 82.
A small filter.
Also a small air stone, which I know is not needed.
All the ammonia, ph, nitrates are at normal levels.
After each 100% water change I change the deco, I have about 5 different main themes from an old car to a asian style latern.
He is a normal veil tail that I got from Petsmart, I thought he was unique due to he is all red except the end of his fin is blue. He loves his food. I give him 3 pellets a day with one fasting day a week. He comes swimming out every time I come near his tank. He hardly flares except for mirrors.
What do you guys think?
