My music teacher has a betta fish named Maestro Adante. He is in a vase with a plant. end of story... He never swims, he barely breaths. The plant takes up his only swimming space, and he's been like this for 2 years. I am about ready to snap. I am going to e-mail her about the fish, and see what I can do. Any advice?
Good luck! The key is to make sure the teacher still likes you. Don't be a jerk about it. Remember, they are teachers and teachers seem to have a complex a lot of the time about being told what is correct by a student! If you get her mad there is no way that you will get through to her. For a while I didn't think my teacher would ever come around because she continually blew me off by lying to me. So, because it was so depressing of a situation I just sat there and stared at the wall with absolutely no emotion whatsoever. I only spoke when spoken to (boring classmates in there anyway) and robotically when about my work (not that I don't do that in most of my classes anyway lol). I think she finally figured it out, and when she approached me to take him home and buy him a suitable house I made sure I perked up and acted happier. Sometimes body language works better than words, especially with stubborn people.
