Currently I have one male and one female red plakats. They are currently not heated due to lack of space but the temp stays between 75f and 81f in the room they are in. Here are a few pictures of their temporary tank and the plakats:

In the next week im purchasing a ten gallon for breeding, i have a 55g opening up for the growout. I started feeding frozen blood worms today. I think ill do that for three weeks and get them in the heated tank. Ive read the articles and have had my other bettas breed in the past. But never plakats. Say I breed these fish, and i see the offspring; would this be worth any profit?

It's possible. Plakats are usually a pretty wanted fish- I've seen a lot of HMPK's out there! And personally I love them! Your male is gorgeous!
