White spots on Betta's head

Hi everyone,

This morning I saw white patches on the head of my betta fish. He seems normal and still very active and eats normal. I have attached a picture

Housing

How often do you feed your betta fish? TWICE A DAY, 5 PELLETS PER TIME

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? ONCE A WEEK
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? ABOUT 50%

Its a little difficult to tell if its dicoloration due to injury, disease or natural color change. Personally I would just keep an on it, if it turns fuzzy or, looks like his flesh is rotting then address it. You could go ahead & add some aq salt if you want. I would test the water just make sure nothing is out of whack.

I agree I would just keep and close eye on it for now. I noticed about a month ago Perseus had a small area like that under his chin area and have been keeping and eye on it and it looks smaller now with his normal blue color coming back now. I think maybe he scraped on something. Keep us posted and how he is doing.
