Hey, I SAID I'd make a sorority, and I will. This was awhile ago... so many probably don't remember this.
The main reason I put Neon in my 10g is so it would cycle. Well, it did! Next I'll probably split an either 10 or 20 gallon tank (20 probably better since he's used to 10 gallons) In two. Then that copper dragon who's coming in a month or two will get the other side. And my current tank will go to the females!
I am absolutely fascinated by female Bettas. They just seem so AMAZING to me! I'll be quarentining them in 2 liter soda bottles for a week... yes, I know, bad to put them in a small tank and for such a short period, but I'll be doing daily 100% water changes and watching their condition VERY carefully. I'll probably add some more hiding places in the tank, introduce them... and then hope for the best. Of course even in quarentine they'll get hiding places. And they'll all be quarentined next to eachother so they get used to seeing eachother and will be more likely not to act out in the sorority.
Also, don't females tend to be smaller then the males?
