So Yesterday I went out shopping and ended up with 2 new boys
The first one I got at Petsmart, I had to go to Dollar Tree and petsmart was right next door so I decided to check on the bettas (which I like to do once in awhile) Well I was horrified! There were only like 7 bettas on the self... and all but 1 of them were dead! I asked to see the manager and was informed that "the person who usually takes care of the bettas hasn't been here in a few days" are you serious? So get someone else to take care of them, its not that hard and there are only 7 cups there anyway. Well I asked if I could "adopt" the last betta since he was close to death anyway and they would never sell him. She said fine, mostly because I think she just wanted me to get out of the storel But I feel like i've done something good.
So I would like to introduce Jumangi, he looks pretty bad now, his fins are all melded together because of poor water quality, but hes spunky and eating already so those are both good signs!
And this gorgeous boy is Fraggle. I got him at a local lfs where they take wonderful care of their animals, its the only place I will actually give money to! haha. Hes a super delta, and I'm pretty sure Im going to breed him at some point!
