I used quick cure many years ago on other fish...I have never tried it on a betta. I bought Wardley's Ick Away but have not had to use it yet so I don't know if it works.
I used to treat Amir's cases of Ich with regular table salt (non-iodine). I would put him in a half gallon critter keeper with treated water and about two table spoons of the salt dissolved in it. Every 48 hours I would do a complete water change with salt again. Takes about two weeks to cure it. You'll know if it's working if you see brown stuff on the bottom of the tank/bowl, that's dead parasites and infected scale layers. Make sure to keep him in a warm place though.
