I just purchased a beautiful crowntail from Thailand, and I was wondering if anyone had done this before, or knew if it was worth the money? I know I'm kinda a noobie, but oh well
The expensive part is the transhipper and their fees and shipping from them.
Fish from overseas tend to be a bit more fragile - they sometimes have certain issues such as easily get SBD, etc.. they also (from what I understand, mine are still alive) don't live quite as long for us - but that isn't always the case.
If you love the fish then enjoy it and ignore the cost But honestly, their fish isn't any more special than an American breeder's.. they just are better at taking pictures
