So, I was away for the week-end, and I came home half expecting Giovanni to have passed, as he's battling a horrid case of fin rot, and has lately been experiencing other strange symptoms, and instead came home to find Giovanni more upbeat than he was when i left, and Diablo jammed between his cave and the side of his tank.. my only guess is that he got himself stuck in there and suffocated.. Poor little Diablo, I'll miss his pretty flaming red fins rippling in the current..
Thanks guys.. I'm still puzzled about coming home to find my healthiest betta gone.. but I think the fact that I had myself sort of anticipating that Gio wouldn't have made it through the week-end made it a little easier to take. On the bright side, my bf is going to buy me one of the crowntails I've been eyeing, if there are any there that I like tomorrow..
