See, I actually went with bigger tanks so they would require LESS work. At a certain size, an NPT needs only a monthly or bi-weekly water change More time for setup, but less work in the long run.

Well I tried....but I had to go back and see if that little betta was still there. Sure enough the little bas.....bugger was still there with his cute little black eyes, red fins, translucent body, and I got him.... here he is in all his glory .





so far I'm just going to float him in a cup in an npt I am setting up for him. he will be released into it when ammonia and nitrITES hold 0 ppm for a week. Threw in some duckweed just so he feels comfortable in the cup. Just goes to show bettas have better begging skills than puppies... *sigh*

Aww, he's so cute! I have the same issue. They look at me with those cute faces and I can't resist them.
