I was at my local petco about a half an hour ago picking up some guinea pig food, and I made my usual stop by the betta fish section. (heehee.) One fish caught my eye, a cellophane doubletail with black edging/marbling. o_O

Here he is:

For now he's going to be the lady's man and hang out in the sorority tank since I have no desire to breed him. I have him acclimating in the tank and all the girls are already oogling and flirting. LOL. I have yet to come up with a name for him. I'm thinking "Sparrow." What do you guys think?

Housing males with sororoties has always worked for me, so long as there is more than 4 females. They won't try and reproduce, and unless you have two very aggressive and extra territorial bettas, they coexist peacefully. You can find articles about it all over the place. :)
