my friend has this female betta fish. when he opened the lid his fish literally jumped out of the bowl and in the water. i do not have any pictures but she is pretty young. i do not think thats normal. i NEED an answer please!!!!!!!
Do you mean out of the bowl and then back into the water? Bettas are jumpers so it's advisable to keep the lid on when yoou aren't feeding her or cleaning the bowl.
females are known to be jumpers, it is HIGHLY reccomended to have a lid with air holes in it for them as they can jump out of the tank very easily.
