At at which point I'll go ahead and speculate that perhaps you need a bigger tank and a nice divider. Do they swim around and not attack each other or lay on the bottom? Please test your tank water (liquid test kit please) and post the results. Thanks!!!
I just put them together to test which one is ready for mating but they are peaceful. The temperature is between 78 and 82 F and water is 6.9 PH... Looks normal to me and they still haven't fought for 2 days. And they do fight when I put another crown male beta, they fight together :S
You should never intentionally place two bettas in the same enclosure, by the way. This is cruel, knowing the way they behave.
