I am relatively new to the Betta world, and had a neat idea for an Asian themed divided tank. I am a big fan of Crowntails, and was wanting to find a white and a black male for this tank, but all the local pet stores only seem to have only red and blue colored ones. Without paying overseas shipping charges, what is the best way to go about finding these colors? Thanks for the wisdom!
You could look around for a breeder in your idea, see if anyone has something like you're looking for.
You may also be able to ask your local stores to call you if they ever come across the color patterns you're looking for during one of their shipments. I don't know if larger chain stores like Petco and Petsmart will do this, but at an LPS a used to work at we'd do this for people all the time.
Best of luck!
