[ITS THE FISH IN MY AVATAR. I ALSO HAVE AN ALBUM IF YOU WANT TO GO LOOK AT THAT.]

im pretty sure shes a girl. anyways if it is a girl, what would you breed her with. i want to breed her since she is a really nice high quality fish and shes awesome.
im thinking i'd breed her with either: red VT or Red HM. or any color HM really.

Definitely female, you can clearly see the ovaries through her skin in the picture. She's pretty, but I don't see any reason to breed her. If you bred her to a red halfmoon, you would get 100% singletailed veiltails unless the halfmoon carried a double tail gene. If you bred her to a veiltail, you'd get all regular veils unless the veil carries double tail gene. You would likely get washed out reds and some cambodians, maybe some nonreds and multicolors depending on what the fish are carrying.

I guess if I had to breed her, I would choose a cambodian or nonred VT male that was DT geno.

It's not a good idea to breed two pheno doubletails together. I definitely don't suggest you do it. You end up with a high percentage of deformed fish, many have kinked spines. If you want to breed healthy doubletails, always use one DT pheno and one DT geno.

I highly suggest you research betta genetics more thoroughly before you get into breeding. This will help you avoid many of the obvious pitfalls--I suggest reading through these pages:
