Small pump for air stone?

If I just want an air pump for an air stone in a 29 gallon, can I just use the 10 gallon tetra whisper pump? I don't see why I would need a bigger one for that...

I don't see why not. You're not using it to filter the tank & so long as it blows bubbles that's all that matters right?

keep your receipt just in case. some of the smaller air pumps can't push hard enough if the tank is too deep. It's worth a shot but make sure you can return it for a larger one.
