Hello all, I am new to the forum and am looking for some information on a "bump" that has popped up on my sweet Khann's face. I first noticed it 6 days ago and when I returned to the office on Monday it has tripled in size. It is between his right eye and mouth, appears to be coming up from under his scales. I am at a loss as to what to do and any help would be appreciated.

I've never seen that before.
Is he showing any other symptoms that indicate he's ill?

Also, it might be a good idea to include betta pellets or frozen worms into his diet. Freeze-dried bloodworms make for really good treats, but are like junk food for fish.

Maybe viral. Usually due to poor water quality. In something that small, even if it is well established, twice weekly 50% with siphon are suggested. With as little as you are changing I would definitely be worried about water quality. That is doubled with the addition of the snail.

How long has the fish been in that tank?

Blood worms is like you feeding nothing but potato chips. He needs a healthier staple - like a pellet whose first two or three ingredients are whole fish, not fish meal or wheat.
