Every once in a while I will look at a few care guides for bettas online, just for kicks, and there is always such a full spectrum of what is considered correct betta care....in particular minimum tank size...Some guides say 1 gallon minimum, some say 10 gallon minimum....10gal MINIMUM? for ONE BETTA? REALLY?! idk, that sounds pretty ridiculous to me....what do you think? And what do you really experienced betta keepers know?
I love going into stores and acting like employees helping people. I've helped so many people looking for fishies and tanks, even in the non betta section I help people. I really should just apply there and see what good I can do lol
The only moment I'd consider a one gallon is as a hospital tank for a betta that can hardly swim up to get air, and even then you can just have him or her in a 2 g not filled completely.
Yep 2.5 g work tank; and its pushing it, but I needed a cubicle mate. She is wonderful. Water changes arent too bad though but I need rooted plants as I only have floating right now.
@Teeney No they don't and they don't know what they are missing ;-)
@Finn She does seem thankful, especially when her weekly bloodworm treats come around... lol
@Katrina it is awesome...helps with the stress at work.
