So here are my betta tanks... just got the crowntail on Friday, my boyfriend and I saw him at Petsmart and couldn't resist... hehe, getting hooked on these little guys.
Anyways... I was wondering how do I clean the gravel since I do have all live plants and in the tall tank there's an undergravel filter that the plants have started to attach to via the roots?
Before the plant roots hadn't really developed so to clean out under the filter it was no problem to simply uproots the plants. I read somewhere that I don't need to worry about gravel cleaning since the "mulm" that develops is used by the plants, and thus shouldn't affect the water quality for the fish.
Timmy's Tank
"Beast"'s Tank (waiting for my boyfriend to come up with a better name)
He has more light blue extending out on his fins and tails (can't really see it in the picture)
