I need help... I think my betta is afraid of my camera... :|
Every time I try to take like the perfect picture he swims away as fast as he can...any tips on taking betta pics? lol
Some of mine are really hard to photograph also. Do you use the flash? I've found that they can get really scared when you they see the bright light, so unless it's necessary, I don't use it.
Leave the camera next to the tank and let him explore it. Also, if your camera has a light, like a red eye filter light, cover it up. I had to do that on my camera because it signaled a flash would happen. I sometimes use flash when it's too dark because my cam decides not to adjust.
Also, is this a new fish? Some Betta are people friendly, like puppies are and will come up to 'play' every time they see you. Others need to get to know you first, usually a few good feedings and he will get the idea. He might be afraid of you. My fish can see me from about 10 feet away. It's not true that they have poor vision, no way if they can see that far!
