I'm a new owner to the Betta Fish and I've never really owned a fish before. I know what to do for the cleaning of the actual tank itself but when it comes to the gravel I'm clueless. How do you go about cleaning out the gravel in your tank?
Depends if the tank is cycled or not. For larger cycled tanks you just go over the gravel with a gravel vacuum. For smaller unfiltered tanks/bowls, you just swish it around in tap water.
A small siphon they sell at most pet shops should cost you around 6 bucks at most. Use that to stir and siphon your gravel once you get the flow going.
