Ok so- Lulu doesn't have a heater YET because it's 110F here in Bakersfield and even with the AC going it's still in the upper 70s in the back room where I live- but i do plan to get her a heater VERY SOON for when it cools off- am I to understand that the Hydor mini has a cord and you bury it in the gravel of the tank? or does it dangle? The pics on the front of the box aren't very clear and they were sold out last time I was at the pet store.
It's the little 3 gallon Eclipse. She's very comfortable with the temperature currently- she's actually possibly the perkiest and most curious betta I've ever had- but I need a heater for the fall.
