I too have the mini pellets . They will only eat one kind of mini too, They are made by Aqueon. At first I got some top fin and then another brand. Did not work.So now I have 2 pks of food they will not eat so I can relate...lol
My Female Bettas eat the small mini Pellets and my Male Bettas eat the large pellets whole. Some of my Bettas only want to eat flakes and frozen foods.
I got Tetramin granules... they are small!! From walmart, cheap, and most of my bettas can eat them. Although my baby betta THINKS he can, he can't
I've got some from forever and a day ago called Betta Bites...I think I bought them from a petstore here that was going out of business back when I used to have lots of bettas. They're not super tiny, but they're not too big either, and all my guys have been willing to eat them. I'll see if I can find a link... http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754114
Yeah I use the omega one super color tropical fish pellets. It brought out some white in my first betta's tail. But I haven't had my newest females long enough to see a difference in their color.
My Betta eats any food you give him. He's such a little Piggy.
He eats Tetramin Micro Betta Pellets. Some are Big, some are Small, eats them all. He chews for 2 Seconds, and done.
Perseus loves his pellets and gets the Betta baby bites by Hikari Bio Gold they are very small and also the Life Spectrum Betta pellets are even smaller...I give one brand in the morning and one in the evening and that works great for him. He does have a tiny mouth but never has any trouble with getting these down.
My bettas eat the mini pellets whole. I have some freeze dried bloodworms too that they get on occasion. But, I tired to get them to eat the bigger ones, and they won't even try.
The Hakari Gold is the ones my fishy loves..and I have tried flakes..and Wardly brand he hates em...blahh..lol..so yea he eats 2 whole at a time..
