My betta fish wasn't eating anyhting so i bought him some brine shrimp to eat. he acually ate. the problem is, he won't eat anyof his pellets.
what should i do to make sure he eatshis pellets every day and accepts brine shrimp as a treat?
im using hikari betta bio-gold,but it was a smaple so i bought new pellets from aqua culture. he loved the hikari betta bio gold at first but he didn't eat them the next day. he would chew on it and spit it out. He eats the brine shrimp fine
Try bloodworms, mosquito larva, daphnia, microworms and other frozen foods. Bettas are predatory in nature but I would advise you not to feed it excessively on one food as these are prone to bloat.
I think that if you give him his pellets he'll eat it if hes hungary enough. Maybe you could give him the shrimp on occasion untill he eats whats given to him.
