I have a new 3.5 gallon tank system (filter, light, hood, etc) that is sitting unused and I have been thinking about bringing home a betta to call it home. I was wondering what else could keep it company? Or would two or so female bettas be better for a tank that size?
I have a 55 gal with cranky tropicals, so it wont be my first fish tank (the evil twins are in my avatar).
I don't think a betta would like company. I think one male betta would be perfect for that tank!
Females need at least three to establish a pecking order because if you get two they could constantly fight.
Are those Silver Dollars? My contacts aren't in right now, lol.
Like others have said, a 3.5 is perfect for one Betta. You may one to get a couple of Ghost Shrimp to clean the bottom. Those little guys are so cute.
