I just won my first auction on Aquabid so we will see if the fish I receive is the same as in the picture. I'll keep you posted on how the process goes. I won an auction from a seller within the US so I don't have to go through Trans-shipper.
He is beautiful I was checking out a red dragon CT on there, but my brother doesn't like him, so I'm going to wait until I find one he likes as well. For some reason I trust him :S lol
the seller seems to really like him, he bred him a few times and said he's a good daddy. The seller is working on his fry though so he is selling daddy
On Aquabid look for auctions from Orldandoguy. That's the guy I got that betta from, so I guess he's a breeder. Every auction I've seen he offers free priority shipping and he's got good reviews/feedback. I paid $18 for that betta, but he's gorgeous. Free shipping and the guy pitched in a free heat pack. We emailed back and forth for a week, so if I get the fish that I paid for then I HIGHLY recommend him. He's located in Florida so you don't have to deal with a Tran Shipper if you're in the US.
I think Mercutio will arrive tomorrow!!! I've decided to name him Mercutio
It's basically like ebay. You create an account, then bid on a fish. If it's a fish from another country (usually Thailand) then you have to deal with a Trans-Shipper because the fish has to make it through customs.
pretty boy! He reminds me of one of my Bettas of the past, Spike.
