Talking New Female Betta Violet :]

Hey guyss, I just got a new female today :D. Her name's Violet, and of course she is a bluish-purpleish color. I just put her in her tank and she's very skiddish right now and has stress stripes... which I hope will go away soon.

I will have pictures up as soon as she calms down :)

She will calm down eventually but some females always have stress stripes.
Try covering the tank for a couple of day with a cloth, keeping it dark.
It helps a lot when aclimating a betta to their new tank.

Okay thanks, when I woke up this morning the stripes are gone.
She hasn't been eating though, she would take a pellet in her mouth, and spit it out and just watch it float downt to the bottom.

Woooop, nevermind. I guess she doesn't like pellets, because I just fed her a bloodworm and she loved it, I could tell. Hahaha.
