Okay so yesterday i went to Petco to go buy aquarium bulbs. While i was there i looked at the bettas. They had very very awesome ones. There was a cellophane DT and a Butterfly CT and a blue with black DT and a red HM and there were cool then in one shelf I saw it.
A White Bodied then Rainbow tail Delta Tail Betta!! THe body was pure white then the tail was all Different colors Red Blue purple EVERYTHING. Probably the best betta Ive ever seen.
My mom waited outside so i was going to buy it along with a big kritter keeper and i would of had enough but i didnt. If i ever go back and see it i wil definitaly 100% get it. I regret getting it but i told my mom and she would of gotten mad at me. Shes like where are you going to put it?? man
Well i thought i should of told you this story. THanks for listening. telll me what you think.
I only hope that my kids are addicted to something like Betta's when they are older. Tell your mom there could be a lot worse things you could be into besides fish and that she should support your addiction as its a good and harmless one
Perhaps you could show your mom you are serious by doing the dishes, vacuuming, mowing the lawn and picking her some wildflowers...or dandilions or anything cheezy to butter her up. It's work for me.
(idea!) This always works when i want a betta. Step 1: Behave really good and to chores like your doing now. Step 2: Earn money so you have enough to buy the desired betta and supplies. Step 3: Tell someone that is normally ok with driving you places that you need new fish food, net, ect. (something cheap or better yet you really could use it because there is no good in buying what you don't need) Step 4: Someone drives you to pet store. Step 5: You but fish and supplies. Step 6: You get in car with fish and say there is a no return policy! ( i never needed to say that but in a worst case senario thats a good last resort!)

I almost forgot to add: You know how i said you needed to say you needed something (food, net, ect) you really should make sure its something you need so your not wasting money which means you have more money to spend on your betta! good idea is to say you need an extra critter keeper, big bowl, small tank as a quarantine!! OR say you need to get a buddy for one of your fish! ( or both if your sure your mom wont say no) This way your not buying anything else besides your betta and his tank and your mom sort of knows! Problem solved! And one more thing: Scratch the no return policy thing because when your mom (or anybody lol!) sees that beautiful boy i dont think she could say no plus she might get more mad. Good luck! And ya i got MTS too aint it wonderful? lol:-D
Good luck! You can also bring up how responsible you are as you take such good care of your bettas already. =) You could even butter her up more and say you learned how to be such a good fishparent from her example as mom. =D
...Or you could sneak it...do you think she'd know if you suddenly had one more tank...? =P
Well, there still is that 1% chance? yeah and really think, how many people go to the pet store and buy bettas (exept us . this one time I went to petsmart (Waaaaay better then petco and closer to me) and looked at the bettas. a week later I went back to petsmart and the same bettas were there.
Good luck! :] If you dont get to get him, with time you could get one like him or may better??
