Today I lost my beautiful girl. I was treating what I thought was simple swim bladder, but she suddenly and inexplicably became worse. I still remember the day I found her at the petstore, ragged, burned by ammonia, and left in the back to be forgotten. For almost two years, I have tried to give her the best life possible. It was hard to watch her suffer the last couple of days, feeling so helpless to stop her pain. I tried to make her as comfortable as possible, and I hope now that she is at peace and happily swimming under the rainbow bridge. Goodbye Freyja, you will never be forgotten.
