This may seem like the strangest request in the world but my ADF Bilbo has Chystrid Fungus infection and Lamasil AT spray has been proven to work as a cure and from the looks of it it has had great success. Unfortunately for me I can't find a single store within a two hours drive near me that carries it. I am reaching out with the largest SOS call ever, without this possible treatment Bilbo will die. There is nothing else I can do for him and I'm not willing to have him die on my watch. If there is anyone out there who has a local store who can get it to me I will gladly pay for the product and overnight shipping through paypal. Anyone out there at all please.

I found this listing on ebay. Lamisil AT Apparently it is very hard to find this specific spray. Some say you need a perscription and some say it was discontinued. *shrugs* Not sure who is right but I did find that listing on ebay. I hope it helps.

I wish I could Romand but small animal vets don't know much about frogs. If I took him they would just charge me a lot of money to tell me he was perfectly alright. They did this back when I owned a geko and two days after I took my geko back home she died and I was $100 less in my pocket. I have to take him to a herp specialist and even then with what he has there really is no cure. All I can do now is humanly put him down. The lamasil off ebay will take 5-6 days to get here, by then Bilbo won't be alive. He's already trying to climb out of the water and the person who had the outbreak said a few days after the frogs started this they died. I'm going to try heat treatment though no one has said if this has worked before. They only say the fungus spores can't survive temps over 89 degrees....not sure if frogs can survive that either.

i'm so sorry LadyVictorian! I wish I could do more to help. I checked my walgreens but I didn't see any there. I hope the heat works. Poor Bilbo. I will stop by the forum later to check on you and Bilbo. *hugs*

The tank is set up for the heat treatment. Right now I have it set to what the betta tank was set at, 83 degrees. Once the hospital tank hits this temp I'll put him in and raise it to 85 degrees and slowly through the day bring it up. If he makes it I have to nuke my tank, already working to throw away some of the stuff from my betta tank and I'll leave the gravel until I can buy new stuff, then I have to qt it for three months because of Aquarius. After three months if Bilbo has made it he can go back, if not well I'm never getting another frog again just for the chance to have this happen again. I don't trust petshop frogs and I don't want to ship a live animal across states only to have it show up dead n my front step.
