My beta is a brown color but recently a strip of his scales turned blue and have a groth on the side of him. It looks like an open wound. I attached a picture (excuse the quality) what should I do? Is there somthing I can buy?
Oh, ew. Can you describe the spot and the growth a little better? Particularly the texture and color of it. Is the betta acting sick, lethargic, is he still eating, etc?
Also, is the tank heated? What size is it? How much and how often do you do water changes?
ok i am sorrry my friend wrote the email for me, the blue is part of his color. the fungus is just a white patch by his gill! what kind of product can i get to help the fungus go away please help!!!
the growth is white, it just apeared he seems to be acting fine. He is still eating and acting like a normal fish, his tank is a gallon, not heated. The growth just looks like a little white patch with a bump
