Haha. I was siphoning water yesterday and got distracted long enough for the bucket to overflow and I ended up signing about a gallon of water onto the carpet.
And that threat of mold is exactly why my 10g is in the kitchen. Siphon straight into the sink, and only have to worry about the water going into the tank. Makes it super easy to clean up what spills.
The worst thing ever is when the pipe comes out of the bucket and you don't know until your floor is covered with more water than all the Great Lakes combined.
Yea I've got 3 tanks and 4 jars in my room plus a tank and a couple jars in my sisters room. My parents won't let me get anymore. But my dad claims in our next house he will build a fish room, doubt it will actually happen. Trying to fits in tanks wherever possible.
Haha, I know those feelings! In my room I am yet to spill water, but with my 30g the hose ALWAYS slips from my hand. I have three towels on hand now because this happens with every water change! XD
Wow...I must be like hyper-sensative to water in my room. The only time water ends up on my carpet is because I just stuck my hand in a tank, grabbed a plant and took it out to move it to a different tank so I end up with a couple drips on the floor! There was one time where the bucket came veeerry close to overfilling, opps!
