Having a problem sexing this betta i bought from a lfs. It was sold to me as a female but i am not 100% sure as it has what appears to be the ovipositer but it is not white, more clear/see through. It is living with a group of females and hsn't blown any bubbles but i've only had it a week.
To be honest I can't tell. Some plakat males have "egg spots" which makes the breeders go crazy. For example I had what I thought was a female living with "her" siblings. I was positive she was female until I came home to find a fully flared male fighting with a brother.
I think it is a female, I had one a while ago and she was also a very buff girl. So I would not say her body size would be a sexing factor.
Beautiful reguardless!
id say girl. my girls looked like males too. but defo girls lol
