Was adding water to my newly planted 10g (substrate 1 1/2" miracle gro, 1 1/2" sand) when I noticed that the force of the poured water dissipate the sand from a 3"x3" section, sending some miracle gro debris throughout the tank. Is there an easy way to fix this, or do I have to drain and start again? Sorry to be brief, my phone is almost dead.
pour sand over the damaged section.
drain as much water as you can. and try again. this time. lay a large ziploc bag, or plastic wrap over the substrate before you fill with water. tada. no disturbance. I personally prefer the larger zoploc bags
