I wouldn't re-use something I had previously thawed. If it's a cube or block and the size was too much, I'd just break it or cut it in half and use only half.
Only thaw as much as you are going to feed at one time. If you try to refrigerate the left overs, you risk contaminating your fish with bacteria and other pathogens.
I put thawed foods in the fridge all the time...I figure you can treat it just as you would previously frozen meat. I wouldn't keep the thawed foods for more than 2-3 days.
I wouldn't re-freeze thawed BS or BWs, but a couple of days in the cold-storage doesn't seem to me that it would hurt. Everybody has their own level of fussiness when it come the details of this hobby.
