so i put my betta in a new tank and he is still swimming at the sides agressevly. i put paper over the side he is most angry towards and it seemes to be working. what is his problem and is there anyway i can make him less agressive. he is the only fish in the tank and the water is 76 degrees. there is no current.
im concerned that he will hurt himself by bashing his head against the side.
asorry i didnt specify before, he is not ramming into it. he is violently swimming up and down. and it is on more than one side, tomarrow night i am goin to the pet stroe again to get another plant. i think he is gonna be alright though. now my biggest concern is getting him to eat more than 3 pellets a day.
i have a 3" irridescent shark that swims up and down the tank a lot. not sure why he does it. none of the other fish do it, well the molly does sometimes but not too much any more.
I'm a kid on this website who cant get a bigger tank okay? Only one person needs to tell them please cuz some of us cant get a bigge tank and that is not the only solution because my friend had a betta in a quarter gallon tank with nothing in it and it lived for 2 years !! I of course have a bigger tank then that but please
Also one possibility is that he is seeing his reflection. But do wat they are telling you above i was just sayin
