I was looking for more betta information and stumbled upon this site. The members seemed to know a lot, so I thought it would be a good place to learn more and share what I know.
I had a betta for almost a year before I went looking for information. I kept him in a small unheated bowl and did infrequent water changes. When I realized he had fin rot I tried LPS remedies which didn't work. Thats when I turned to google and found this website. Thanks to the information on this forum my first betta is healed, healthy and looking beautiful. Now I have three bettas kept in heated, cycled 3 and 5 gallon tanks. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to give people good information to improve the health and happiness of bettas.
Probably landed here while researching some obscure bit of betta knowledge on Google. Decided to post and stick around because everyone I know is either a.) completely uninterested in fish of b.) are mildly interested in bettas but refuse to be educated about their proper care (i.e. they want to stick them in little vases and use them as decorations for their little offices)
I was researching about bettas :] Then google did me a favor and I wound up here! Absoutly love it :]
