I bought a juvenile female betta and recently discovered that it is blind. Most of the time it just stays in the bottom of the container or near the surface, rarely swimming around.
It also has trouble feeding as it can only eat the food which happen to drift in front of its mouth.
There seems to be no aqueous humour in its eyeballs, making them look dimpled and shriveled. I suspect the other females in the tank at the shop attacked her eyes.
Are there anyone who also have a blind betta?
