Hey guys I recently perchased what I think is a Amazon Sword a little under a month ago It is my first live plant and I have it in my tank, planted in Gravel, I clean the Tank every friday and it seems to be doing great....... But I have noticed more recently that the plant has some brown spots....... One small spot was there when I bought it, but it seems to be getting a little bigger....... And I am wondering if that was a sign that I was doing somthing wrong? And Do I need to clip off the parts that are brown? And I apoligize for the gigantic images!
Don't touch the leaves until they turn completely brown. What you have is a root feeding plant. It's turning brown because it doesn't have enough nutrients.
Get some root tab type fertilizers and slip them underneath the plant.
Okay, thank you all so much this is going to help me a buch! But I'm kind of confused...... what exactly is "SeaChem Root tabs?" And where would I get them?
