Salt and Heat

Hi All,

Few questions....again. I'll try to be short.

--How much salt/gal should be used?
--Which med is best to fight fin rot?
--And, could a reptile heater be used to heat water? I was thinking, since heat rises, to put a reptile heat pad on our counter (marble) and set the fish on it. I tried a heating pad and it seemed to work really well. (Was an emergency as the water was at 70*) Velvet has buried himself at the bottom sometimes.

Thanks Again!

Wait? Does ur betta have velvet or is that his name?

As for the salt, go with 1 teaspoon per gallon (keeps ick, velvet, and anyother parasite from attacking)
