I'm relatively new to owning bettas. All the others usually died because, for some dumb reason, I never thought of extensively researching how to take care of bettas. I was one of those people who thought like "oh, they're easy fish. I shouldn't have too much trouble). But now I have researched (I've done hours of research), and I'm proud to be this Crowntail's new mommy <3
His name is Paris.
Named both for the Prince of Troy and something a little more symbolic.
See, I had this nice lapdog named Maddie. A few days before getting Paris, she needed to put her down because an illness that just couldn't be cured due to her old age was causing her so much pain. I named him Paris because Maddie was short for Madeline. As in the children's book character who lived in France. Thus, Paris.
