My boyfriend went to the petstore we use to get crickets for our reptiles, and he decided to go scan through the fish section to see what they had(apparently he wanted to surprise me by getting a fish and keeping it at home until I got back from school :3)
But oh goodness! Someone in the fishbowl making industry is apparently trying to compete with the large tanks available... For sale in the fish section was a 10 gallon fish bowl! O_O They apparently had up to 20 gallon in the traditional drum bowl style...lol! Sort of funny, I don't know WHERE they are getting them, can't find anything that size online. Maybe someone local just really likes fish bowls but wants bigger ones? They came with lids too, that was pretty cool. I can't wait til I go back home, I'll take a picture for ya if they still have them!
Nope, they were the flat on two sides 'fish bowl' bowls...XD I know about biorbs! These were like if you took the tiny bowls...make them HUGE! Also, the ten gallon was 30 dollars instead of the crazy 100 or so the biorb costs!
Very true, it just sort of made me laugh! Nathan said it was bigger than his steering wheel by far, it took up so much room...Hahaha it just sounds crazy! I guess if someone was just reeeally determined to have a bowl for their betta but wanted a ten gallon..... lol!
Well, Bowls just have a more stylish appearance than bulky rectangular tanks. Only exception are those fancy rimless ADA tanks. I am actually tempted to remove the top rim on my 10 gal but I'm afraid I'll break it lol.
That sounds cool! If you are looking for a unique tank that sounds really nice!
