I just tested my tank. Its a 3 gallon AquaFarm tank. I took all of the plastic and silk plants out cuz i was not sure which one might have tore his fin. My test results are
PH-7.6
Ammonia-.25 ppm
Nitrite N02- 0ppm
Nitrite N03-0ppm
What do i need to do to get numbers right or what are the normal ranges.

Im also looking at getting java fern and some grass will that help w.the levels?

Are you trying to cycle your tank? Your ammonia and Nitrite levels should be as close to 0 as possible and Nitrate should not exceed 40ppm
Plants will help as far as consuming some nitrates but having one or two doesn't change it too significantly IMO/E

If you're cycling your tank this beautifully written guide should help
